New Zealand Guide 

Where were you born and where did you grow up?
I grew up in a small country town called Amberley just north of Christchurch in New Zealand. I spent most of my childhood playing team sports, and if I wasn't playing sport, I was running around outside building huts or playing games!

What are your hobbies?
I love exploring new places especially by bike or foot. I'm a big fan of the ocean, if there's a nice swimming spot around I'll be there. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life!

What has been your greatest outdoor adventure?
I hiked from Geneva, Switzerland to Liechtenstein a couple of years back camping out along the way and visiting small villages. I saw some of the most incredible scenery and met some great people. One morning I woke to a cow eating my tent, no damage done to the cow or tent :).

What did you do before you became a guide?
I studied Primary School Teaching, once I graduated I left beautiful New Zealand to explore the big wide world and found myself teaching in South Korea, Tawain, Dubai and Cambodia. In between all that I've worked in Hospitality and Tourism throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Describe a life experience that has shaped you today?
Over the last 10 years I've been travelling and working abroad. I think the people I have met and the experiences I have had along the way have shaped me into the person I am today.
