Excellent restaurants, not just the food but the views.
Beautiful location and great food.
The islands are beautiful and the activities allowed us to see some of their best spots.

Every day was full of activity & adventure with hikes in beautiful forest of ferns and lakes, biking in winding local roads and kayaking in safe waters.. and the whale watch with local experts. Guides surprised us with lovely picnics and provided safe, considerate, fun guidance on all daily activities! Ready for another.

The hiking, biking and kayaking were all excellent. The weather was perfect for us except for the one day in which we were biking. We loved Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor and Orca Island. Each were unique and exciting at the same time

My husband and I enjoyed this trip. The activities were as stated. I think we did not read carefully enough how much biking was on the trip. The first three days were biking. We enjoy biking but it was too much for us. We especially enjoyed the hiking, kayaking and orca watching where we saw an entire pod of orcas hunting for sea lions! Orcas eat mammals!

Not kidding about the ACTIVE part. It was such good fun: the hiking, the biking, the kayaking and oh the orcas! The guides, Steve and Grace, are both so wonderful and attentive. We felt safe and well-taken care of. The itinerary was just filled with awesome activities. We had a great time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Orca Trip hosted by Grace and Rob from Active Adventures. We found both guides to be knowledgeable and personable. We especially appreciated Grace's commentary during our hike through the woods where she encouraged us to hike in silence for a bit to be mindful of the forest and to meditate while walking along. Great feeling of connectedness to our natural surroundings.
