Alex loves being a professional naturalist guide and wildlife photographer. Since 1995, Alex has been leading nature excursions, adventures, and photography tours through the natural heritage of Costa Rica. He spends his time birding, biking, kayaking, fishing, and hiking. Alex especially enjoys exploring new places and showing travelers Costa Rica through his eyes.

Any Volcano in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica Tortuguero to Cahuita.

I like so many...Hard to choose just one. Any song that is classic rock.

When did you first catch the travel bug?

As a kid. Spent my youth traveling with my family. 

What are your favorite outdoor activities?

I prefer hiking most, but anything outdoors is an adventure. 

What are your hobbies?

I love fishing, tying flies, and nature photography.
