We extremely enjoyed the trip. Everyone got along. The tour guides Liana and Lisa were great. Lisa coordinated and prepared a number on meals that were also very good. Liana kept us informed of the local traditions and histories. we enjoy everything.

We had a great time discovering the diverse activities and beauty of the North Island of New Zealand. Our guides were great fun and made our trip special from the Kauri Trees to the wonderful hikes.

Active does an amazing job arranging everything and really taking care of the guests. I had a great trip and can't say enough nice things about our guides. Everything went smooth and they were so knowledgeable. Would highly recommend the trip to anyone.

The trip was just wonderful. I loved all the hiking, the variety of locations, the other activities and the most beautiful country. Our guides Nicola and Johnathon were super. Nicola prepared the best meals and Johnathon was right there to assist her while also making great fish on two occasions. They were both so kind, helpful and very efficient. I would most definitely do another trip with Active Adventures!!! Some of the accommodations were a bit run down and the company may want to reevaluate several spots. Overall it was just perfect in every way. We had several cancellations due to bad weather, but Nicola and John made the best of these unfortunately situations.

From the moment we got picked up we didn't stop. Jam packed filled with travelling, hiking, experiences, eating and drinking. Lynette, the driver, and Nic guiding were extremely brilliant. Their knowledge and care of us all was exemplary. We couldn't have asked for better guides.
Totally enjoyed this holiday, I have nothing bad to say about it.

The holiday was amazing, what a great way to explore New Zealand, North Island. Lynette was a great driver and very knowledgeable about the country. Nicola was a fantastic cook, all dietary requirements catered for really well. All the activities were well organised and I thoroughly enjoyed them.

This trip was everything advertised and more. Our two guides (Lynette our driver and guide and Natalie our chef and guide) made sure we got the most our of our 11 day tour of the North Island. Their expert knowledge on flora and fauna, trails and back roads, meals, local culture plus their encouragement and sense of humor made this trip unforgettable. We were treated to a wide variety of experiences and everyday was an adventure.
